6 weeks today

This morning Joy and took the babies in the yard after their breakfast for a romp in the cool. The grass was wet from watering so it felt different to them and it was only about 55 degrees out but the sun was shining. Yesterday Auntie Leslie came up and she will be sending me great photos of pups. Several this morning did not want to be photographed! :) But ... this is what I captured.

The pups are running and romping well at this point. They are FAST! :)

I truly see the movement of their parents passed on, even in their young bodies. It is remarkable how many of them do not gallumph along but rather trot cleanly, coordinated and with intention. They have been practicing their agility and experimenting --- they walk around the stones on the small fire pit, crawl under the patio chairs, climb in and out the sliding door. They have hung around with the cats, kids, french bulldog and their dad so far --- and have practiced being told when to stop! :)

The consensus of those who have seen the pups is this:

Pet families are getting some of the best structured pets one could ask for. Temperment wise -- they are calm, sweet, seek people and rarely squabble. It really is what I hoped for in the breeding.
